Do you feel your life is on auto pilot? All these duties that have to be fulfilled with work, school, children, husband, friends, church, community etc… Not being mindful of yourself and living in auto pilot can cause lots of stress. MindfulSistahs is provided to help women become aware of their feelings, emotions, and thoughts. Also to help women to communicate and learn from other women to help relieve stress. So go ahead read and express yourself. Remember you are safe to express you feel and I am here to support you. We are in this together!

What Is Mindfulness

Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment.

Mindfulness also involves acceptance, meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them—without believing, for instance, that there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to think or feel in a given moment. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.

Ways to Practice Mindfulness                               

 Eat mindfully

Walk mindfully.

Observe your breathing.

Connect with your senses.

Pause between action.

Listen wholeheartedly.

Get lost in the flow of doing things you love.

Mediate daily.
